Pros: Large screen, large buttons, loud ringer, excellent voice quality

Disadvantages: There is no external screen, as was the case on the KF330, it is impossible to set your own melody for opening (only from two faded preset ones), but on the KF330 this was possible, it is impossible to install a photo on a contact without first adapting it (size no more than 40Kb, i.e. that is, dancing with tambourines), it is impossible to change the font size and color (hello Samsung!). It’s not clear why they called the item with incoming SMS “Dialogues”, and a couple of other similar jambs in the menu

Comment: Despite the many missing things (see above), there is no alternative - the most comfortable folding bed available on the market, in my opinion. The rest either have a screen twice as small, or there is no “Ok” button (and there is a poor “up and down” key, making using the menu a horror)

Comment: I've owned it for a week. There is one thing, the slot for the 2nd SIM card turned out to be non-working. I took it to the store and they sent it for a quality check for 2 weeks. Advantages: 1) the size of the device itself - it is proportionally large. More than any Chinese device with a budget of 2000 rubles. Everything is great - screen, buttons, font. 2) quality in general - the screen has a large reserve of brightness and there are no pixels/grain on it like on clamshells from other manufacturers. Where necessary there are rubber inserts so that when opening/closing the device there is no extraneous noise/popping. 3) memory card support - this is important! just record songs for grandma, upload hundreds of photos of your beloved grandchildren, record your own ringtone, etc., which is also a missing function in other devices of this form factor. 4) style - it doesn’t look like a Chinese toy in your hands. Completely monolithic with an interesting surface treatment. 5) conversational speaker - excellent audibility. Grandma immediately noted that it was much louder than the previous Alcatel.

Disadvantages: 1) terrible preset ringtones - but you can insert a flash card, record your favorite melody there and put it on the ringer. 2) cost - but I will describe below why for me this is a drawback "for show" 3) lack of a flashlight - this is really strange for such money.

Comment: I want to kill modern marketers who simply gave up on the clamshell and slider form factors. Even if they are on sale, they are of terrible quality, with extremely limited availability for 2017. functionality. What is on the market now is even worse than what was produced in 2005. There are a lot of friends and acquaintances of different ages from 30 to 70 years old who are looking for a simple BUT RELIABLE dialer. And that is why I consider the cost of this device to be completely justified. I really want someone to follow LG and start making high-quality phones. But with the search for contacts in the address book, everything was fine, it showed everything that was needed. People who write that you can’t add multiple phones to one contact simply haven’t figured out the phone either. And those who don’t know how to turn off sounds when opening the lid, just go to the Profiles menu - options, everything is configured there. Unfortunately, at the moment it is unrealistic to buy an advanced push-button telephone, and even one with large enough buttons (vision is reduced). This device is quite normal as a dialer, with the other functions I need (Internet, mail, navigator, taxi, photo, alarm clock, etc. ) there is a smartphone for this. So, I didn’t even try this device as an alarm clock or take photos.

Sometimes the font is too small, but to be honest, the engineers tried, even to the detriment of the humaneness of the interface: to increase the font of the contacts, they separated the name and number by level. People understood the target audience. 2G Internet is just for show, can be neglected - few of the target audience will ever use it

Perhaps someone, like me, carefully chooses a model before buying a phone; for such users, I will try to tell in detail in this review about the 2017 flip phone from LG. I couldn’t find some information before purchasing, so I’ll tell you about these details.

So, the LG G360 mobile phone.

He's dual-SIM! And this makes me happy. SIM cards are ordinary, large, as before. Both are active, of course (both are waiting for calls, if we talk on one, the second is “busy”). If necessary in the settings, any card is disabled.

The buttons are large, the screen is large and bright. This is a definite plus. The color of the numbers and letters on the screensaver cannot be changed, so it is better to choose a dark background image (so that the clock is visible). You cannot yet change the font size in contacts and SMS messages. But, however, it is moderately large. Only "0" is spelled poorly and gets confused with "8".

The ringing sound is loud at maximum. Ringtones can be downloaded. What made me happy is that you can put your own melody on each of the SIM cards (for example, it will immediately be clear whether they are calling at work or from friends). I was not pleased that the SMS signal only consists of standard sounds; you cannot set your own. The same thing with the alarm clock - choose from what is available))

Charger. The charge lasts for a very long time! I talk for at least 30 minutes a day, a couple of SMS, an alarm clock, reminders - I charge it about once every 5 days. The connector is standard, like all modern smartphones.

Let's take a look inside.

The first icon at the top left is Camera. Camera 1.3, as stated. However, it more or less removes. Clear, not dark. Not on a big screen, of course, but quite watchable on a phone. What kind of label, advertisement, etc. should I take?

By the way, the camera has its own separate button, which is very convenient; more on that later.

Next on our menu "Contacts" And Opera mini browser . I haven’t used the Internet here, I can’t say anything, but I think the following about “Contacts”: The first feature here is that in order to assign a separate melody to some contact (husband one, children another, boss a third), you need to create a “group ", add a melody to her and then add her husband or boss to this group) Moreover, the numbers must be recorded in the phone’s memory (not on the SIM) in order to add them.

Next on the menu- Calculator And SMS messages (everything is standard, the delivery report is installed, there is a “Drafts” folder where unfinished messages go. There is text input using T9 (not as convenient as on Nokia, it takes a little getting used to).

"Calendar". The calendar is standard, duplicated with a joystick button. You can add reminder notes. It's a pity that their sound signal coincides with the alarm clock. The calendar is large. It's convenient.

Further unnecessary "Facebooks" , and the next button "Profiles" or “modes” (for those who are used to Nokia). Here you can configure the “Silent”, “Meeting”, “My style” modes. Here, in “Profiles,” you can disable such an infuriating feature as a melody when opening/closing the phone (Imagine, open and close, it beeps every time. The first thing I did was look for how to disable it. Well, I found it here).

Next icon- "Sim card" . Here you can disable/enable one of the SIM cards. This can also be done when you turn on the phone (it asks after turning on whether to start with two SIM cards or with one of them).

Then the icon - a yellow notepad with a pencil - "Notes" A handy thing to do is write down some name, maybe a password or something similar.

In the next row there is a yellow “folder” icon. Here is “Gallery” if in Nokiev style (pictures, melodies), i.e. Here "Phone memory" and, if you have an additional memory card, then go into it here. By the way, about the memory card. If you want additional melodies and pictures, you need it, the phone’s own memory is not enough.

There are three more unusual buttons.

First left button switching SIM cards. How it works: Use the buttons to dial the phone number, press “call”. The call will be from the SIM card that is under N1, if we want to call from N2, then press switch, SIM 2 is highlighted in red and then it calls. BUT! If we don’t dial the number using buttons, but take it from the call list (where we called before), then the call will be made from the same SIM as last time, switching will not help.

Also, when we write down phone numbers in the “phone book”, you can immediately enter SIM 1 or SIM 2, then calls will be made immediately from the desired SIM card.

The second button (in the center) is "Emergency SMS" Those. We write some SMS (For example, “Buy me a gift urgently!”, enter the phone number. For example, the husband. The phone remembers. And when we feel sad, with one click of a button, the husband receives an SMS)). All jokes aside, the function can be useful for older people in an emergency.

And the third button- Turn on the camera. Very convenient - you can quickly turn it on and take a photo.

That's probably all. I've been using this phone for 3 months and I'm very pleased. What was needed was a small flip phone that could be put in the pocket of a robe, jeans, or a tight jacket, in order to be always in touch. A large Samsung smartphone, which is in a bag, does not fit anywhere, is not always heard from a bag on the street and breaks when it falls on a tile, it is available for calls at work, but for “my friends” I wanted a reliable “folding phone”.

About reliability. Previously, my 2009 Nokia folding phone withstood a crash test with a fall onto the asphalt, but I haven’t had the chance to do this yet)) I don’t think it will withstand it, it’s heavier and larger, but when closed it’s already flown and landed safely))

Another important advantage I discovered is that it catches the net well. In the basement of a neighboring house (old foundation and thick walls) we have a shop where my old Noki and a modern Samsung smartphone caught the network without any problems, but Samsung folding phones, of which I tested three of them there, were not caught at all. (The telecom operator is the same in all cases). LG did not disappoint, did a great job)

I definitely recommend the phone for those who, like me, have the Internet and so on everywhere)), just to make calls. And, of course, for older people. You can see and hear well here. The sound is very good, the interlocutor can be heard loudly, without distortion. The phone is also available in a dark gray case.

The price at the end of 2017 was 4900 in most stores; in the MTS showroom they bought it for 3900 on sale.

At a time when the mobile market has been almost completely captured by smartphones with numerous complex functions and advanced technical characteristics, LG continues to delight fans of flip phones. Models with a similar design are already quite outdated, but have not yet disappeared completely. This is confirmed by the phone we will discuss in this article.

Appearance

The appearance, according to most, turned out to be quite attractive: there are no problems with assembly. The phone fits well in the hand, is not bulky, and therefore convenient to store and carry in your pocket; the colors are bright and attractive. Let's note the large buttons, which are pleasant to work with: there is no risk of pressing several keys at once. The keyboard is placed very concisely and does not require any additions.

Screen

Reviewers of the owner's model and advertising point to a decent screen of the device. Most people liked the display: large font, bright colors and excellent display of information in the sun. By tilting the phone at different angles, it becomes noticeable that the inscriptions and pictures on the screen are distorted (this is, after all, a simple TFT), but not much. Owners are somewhat upset by the lack of an external display on the lid of the gadget, which would be convenient to check missed calls, see incoming calls and simply see the time.

Users believe that the bright and moderately large display (3 inches) is great for older people. Many took the model for their mothers or grandmothers, and claim that the older generation is satisfied with the device: the inscriptions on the screen are clear, large, the colors are rich, and the screen almost does not fade in the sun. In addition, the large keyboard makes it easy to dial a phone number or text message. I especially want to highlight the last advantage, since many older people often suffer from farsightedness, and the large keyboard and font make it possible not to strain the eyes. Camera

The camera here is only 1.3 megapixels. It was installed, rather, just to be, since there is no talk of acceptable photo quality. Shooting settings are poor and there is no flash. Optics are useful, perhaps, for capturing some interesting frame and then viewing it on the phone screen. There is no point in unfolding pictures on a computer monitor, much less printing them: the text is blurry, the pictures are distorted, and the color rendition is very weak. By the way, the camera can also shoot videos, but it’s better not to talk about their quality.

In general, the camera in the LG G360 phone - reviews confirm this - is unanimously listed by the owners of the device as one of the main shortcomings of the gadget. Indeed, optics could not be installed at all, thereby reducing the cost of the device.

Sound

Owners will be satisfied with the speaker volume and sound quality. Music is played clearly and clearly, the phone supports mp3 and has an FM receiver, so theoretically the model can be used as a player, but you shouldn’t expect a decent effect.

Speaking about the speaker, it is worth mentioning that it is combined here, that is, it is single for both conversation and multimedia. However, when the flip phone is closed, it can still be heard more than clearly, so you don't have to worry about a quiet call signal.

Memory

The developers have installed a very ridiculous amount of memory - only 20 MB for storing data in the LG G360 phone. User reviews indicate a negative attitude towards such a small volume. Part of it is already occupied by the system, so the owners of the model have nothing left. The problem is solved by purchasing a memory card, since, fortunately, there is a slot for it. When a phone was purchased not only for calls and SMS, but also to satisfy any multimedia requests, buyers were forced to immediately pay for a memory card.

Other features

Among the pleasant features of the cell phone, which is very controversial, it offers two SIM cards, Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi receiver. The battery, according to the owners, is quite weak: not everyone has enough 950 mAh to carry out their tasks. However, the battery will last for 13 hours of telephone calls, and the gadget will last 485 hours in standby mode. The indicators are not the most impressive for a phone with weak hardware.

Conclusion

Here we have an ordinary “dialer” in the style of a “clamshell”, which copes well with ordinary tasks: making calls, writing text for SMS messages, transferring data. The LG G360 Red model - reviews confirm - is more suitable for a female audience. The stronger half most often prefers noble black or steel color.

Thanks to the large keys and good display, the device can be purchased for the older generation. Some users say that they abandoned more expensive gadgets, because unnecessary functions only cluttered the interface, and switched to this simple device. Others purchased the G360 as a second phone.

Users note a rather high cost bar: from 3,860 to 5,754 rubles. For that amount you can buy an inexpensive Chinese smartphone. There's really nothing special about the G360 other than practical styling, a comfortable keyboard, and ease of use.

The camera here is weak: it could be abandoned altogether.
