The cheapest tariff from MTS Tariffishche in Crimea - how to connect, conditions. MTS tariff for communications and Internet in Crimea Why MTS Internet does not work in Crimea

From December 1, MTS SIM cards will no longer be sold and serviced in Crimea; Crimeans will be able to receive help from the operator only in neighboring Russia. This information was disseminated by " TVNZ» with reference to the owner of several service points mobile communications on the peninsula.

Since 2014, none of the Russian “Big Four” companies – the main mobile operators – still have official representative offices in Crimea. The Russian publication writes that now new SIM card MTS is sent to Crimean clients by registered mail from the Krasnodar region of Russia, but after December 1 you will have to go for it yourself.

Later, the Russian Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of Crimea Sergey Zyryanov. On your page in Facebook Zyryanov wrote on November 15 that the relevant services and the mobile operator’s office in Moscow denied these rumors. “Specialists at the telecom operator’s call center also deny the veracity of this information,” the statement says. message.

The Crimean activist says that, in addition to all the inconveniences, the quality of communication on the peninsula leaves much to be desired.

Local authorities have introduced a moratorium on fee increases, but our roaming icon is still on

– My acquaintances, relatives and friends, when they lost their phone along with the SIM card, went to the nearest populated area (Russia – KR) – this is Anapa, Temryuk. If it really is not possible to receive a SIM card by registered mail, then everything will become even more complicated. In general, only the lazy do not complain about the quality of communication, even in the center of Simferopol. On Franco Boulevard in some blocks it is very bad, something is croaking in the tube. Local authorities have introduced a moratorium on fee increases, but our roaming icon is still on. Many people complain about inflated tariffs, especially when it comes to unlimited Internet. Now young people call less, use messengers more, but analogues of mainland (Russian) ones do not appear on the market. KR) tariffs.

The call center operator of the Russian MTS claims that the SIM card of this operator has not been officially sold in Crimea before:

“In principle, you can now restore and replace a SIM card only in Krasnodar. In Crimea you cannot do this, you can only purchase a SIM card. In fact, Crimeans initially cannot replace and restore it on the territory of Crimea - they come to Krasnodar. As for the acquisition, there is no such information. If it appears, MTS will officially talk about it.”

Ukrainian telecom expert, internet resource editor G-news.com Sergei Gorbachevsky suggests that it may not be profitable for MTS to operate in Crimea even through unofficial dealers.

It is possible that MTS is not very profitable to serve customers who are constantly roaming

Sergei Gorbachevsky

– Here I would look for an economic rationale. It is quite possible that it is not very profitable for MTS to serve customers who are constantly roaming. If they generate a loss for the company, I would also stop shipping SIM cards for Crimea to dealers. I don't think this is the work of local operators. Resellers don’t care what to sell: be it MTS or Beeline. They need to earn money. As for the quality of communication, without major players it is difficult to expect that it will be close to Russian. This is an expensive pleasure, plus sanctions, so we have what we have.

Russian telecommunications analyst Ilya Shatilin believes that in fact, practically nothing will change for Crimeans from December 1.

It is possible that SIM cards will be sold not in the official store, but on the black market

Ilya Shatilin

– There are local operators in Crimea – Volna Mobile and so on - which carefully hide who they belong to. This was done in order to Russian companies, affiliated with these operators, were not sanctioned for operating in Crimea. Back in 2014, MTS began selling its SIM cards in Crimea, but from the point of view of international law, this is the same as a Russian operator selling them in Kyiv or Berlin. Perhaps the information has now come out because there are some claims regarding MTS contracts with Crimean dealers. I think that nothing bad will actually happen because there is demand. It is possible that SIM cards will be sold not in the official store, but on the black market. In Moscow, any SIM cards can be bought at crossings - even without documents, despite all attempts to fight this.

Ilya Shatilin notes that enterprising people could buy SIM cards in the Krasnodar Territory and sell them in Crimea at a higher price, if not for the quality of communication.

It is now impossible to build a network entirely on Russian equipment

Ilya Shatilin

– Now in Crimea there are actually remnants of networks of Ukrainian operators operating on outdated equipment. No one is investing significant funds here, unlike the regions of Russia. Again, due to sanctions, suppliers - Western companies are not very ready to supply their equipment for work in Crimea. If telecommunications equipment is produced in Russia, if it reaches a full cycle, then everything will be built on its basis. But for now these are just loud statements. It is now impossible to build a network entirely on Russian equipment.

Many subscribers who decide to relax in the resorts of the Crimean Peninsula are concerned about the rules and procedure for connecting cellular communication from MTS in Crimea. The mentioned issue still remains in limbo, since modern telephone companies are in no hurry to offer their own services to local residents. This situation is caused by a lot of reasons, but in general, the refusal to extend the cellular network to the territory of Crimea is explained by economic and political motives.

The situation will not change in the near future, and therefore subscribers who decide to visit the Black Sea resorts in 2020 should think in advance about choosing the optimal tariff plan and connecting additional services that reduce the cost of communication. Without following these rules, paying for phone calls can cause trouble for users, since the amount spent will be too high. Find the information you need about possible ways You can save money on the official website of the telephone company, where all the details and features of the available tariff plans are described.

The first thing that users need to know about MTS roaming in Crimea is the reluctance of the cellular operator to cover the mentioned topic. There is virtually no information on the company’s website about how to connect to mobile network on the territory of the peninsula. But, if you search more carefully or contact the contact center employees, it turns out that roaming is available in the specified region. But it is not international, but national. Consequently, options that allow you to reduce the cost of services must be available for traveling around the country (“Everywhere is like home”, “Home package Russia”).

Communication and Mobile Internet will remain available without activating add-ons, but their cost will be higher than usual. Special options are required not to provide the subscriber with communications, but to reduce the cost of basic services, so users need to think in advance about which connection option to choose. If difficulties arise with the choice, clients can contact the contact center consultants and ask for their advice. Moreover, support staff will activate the option selected by the caller if he informs them of such a desire.

MTS tariff in Crimea in 2020

Special tariffs for the Crimean Peninsula mobile operator is not provided, so people who decide to relax on the Black Sea coast should not waste their time searching for such offers.

But it’s worth taking a closer look at the “Zabugorishche” option, available for connection on all Smart tariffs (including Tariffishche). It allows subscribers to use pre-allocated service packages available to users both in the country and abroad. According to the main conditions of the mentioned service, clients will have access to:

  • 7 GB Internet traffic;
  • 350 minutes of outgoing calls;
  • free communication within the network, regardless of the location of the interlocutor;
  • 350 messages;
  • unlimited access to social networks.

There is a weekly subscription fee for the packages listed. The services themselves, accordingly, are updated every week, and therefore the above should be enough to complete all the actions planned by subscribers.

An alternative solution could be the “Russia+ Home Package” option, which allows you to significantly reduce current communication prices.

Roaming connection

Users wondering about the operation of MTS in Crimea and roaming (whether it exists or not in 2020) should not worry about connecting to the mentioned service. Tariffs provided by the telephone company include roaming in the list of basic services available on each SIM card. The exception is situations when the user independently disables the option through his personal account. In such cases, you cannot do without reconnecting. You can restore a disabled option in personal account or mobile application companies.

Considering that roaming does not need to be activated, subscribers should activate the add-ons already described above to reduce the cost of outgoing calls and the Internet.

Connecting to the network on the peninsula will not cause any difficulties. MTS doesn't have its own radio towers, so users will have to join the phone company's partner networks. This usually happens automatically, but if it doesn't, users will have to:

  1. Go to your phone settings.
  2. Find an item mentioning available networks.
  3. Update the list.
  4. Choose the right one.
  5. Save your changes.

Nothing additional is needed.

Shutdown

Disabling roaming does not make sense, since the service is provided free of charge and is basic. But, if the subscriber is determined to refuse the service, he will be able to disable it in his personal account in the section with a list of active options.

It will be much more relevant to deactivate options aimed at reducing the cost of cellular communications. They work in any region, so if the client does not deactivate them themselves, money will continue to be debited from the SIM card balance, no matter how much the user needs more active add-ons. The deactivation procedure depends on the connected add-ons and may vary. The exact methods of disconnection should be clarified on the website or with the company’s consultants. An alternative, universal solution would be to disable unnecessary services through your personal account.

Hello, please contact your operator at toll free number 8-800-250-0890.

Good evening!
Tell me, are incoming calls from Russia from Beeline to MTS to Crimea (defined as the Rostov region) paid?

Hello, what is the tariff?

There is only one GSM network operating on the Crimean Peninsula, which was created in 2014 and belongs to the K-Telecom company. To have access to Crimeans, Russian mobile operators agreed with Win Mobile and entered into roaming agreements.

True, the quality of communication is quite poor and everyone talks about it, both ordinary residents and guests of the resort region, and officials. Mobile Internet functions very poorly, since K-Telecom uses EDGE technology. For example, through VimpelCom you will not be able to access the global network at all in the city of Sevastopol, although Internet roaming works in the rest of the territory. Using MTS roaming in Crimea or Megafon you will not encounter such problems.

The main intrigue of Crimea and mobile communications is the visible presence of MTS Russia in resort cities, while officially it is not there. Announcements about tariffs and new packages can be seen in any city on the peninsula, just like buying MTS SIM cards.

These SIM cards work in roaming mode, this can be understood by the appearance of the corresponding icon, so you should enable data roaming in your phone settings in order to work normally with the mobile Internet. Although the roaming icon will light up, this will not affect the cost of communication if you choose the right tariff. This is, in fact, why the majority of Crimean residents are connected to MTS.

The paradox is that when we find out from the company what kind of roaming MTS has in Crimea, we get the answer – international. In principle, this is logical, because the subscriber is served by Ukrainian networks. But, as mentioned above, there is no roaming in the truest sense of the word. How does this happen? It’s just that the Ukrainian mts, which is called “MTS-Ukraine,” belongs to a Russian holding. So, an agreement was reached among ourselves so that the cost of MTS roaming in Russia and Crimea would not differ.

A paradoxical situation emerges: on the Crimean Peninsula, Russian tariffs and numbers are used, but Ukrainian operators operate, although officially there is only one local GSM network, “K-Telecom” from Win Mobile.

MTS roaming in Crimea 2020: tariffs

Guests of the peninsula, arriving at the resort from the mainland, enter the zone home roaming from the region “Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea”, which is why the cost of communication services will be higher. To reduce their costs, subscribers can use the following methods:

  • Use Smart tariff mini.
  • Select Smart or Smart Unlimited.
  • Take the “Guest” tariff
  • Activate the option “Everywhere at home” for 100 rubles.

Let's compare these three tariffs:

Smart mini

Smart

Smart unlimited

Guest

How to activate roaming on MTS in Crimea

You can activate the “Everywhere at home” service in several ways:

  • using the combination *111*1021#;
  • send an SMS to number 111 with the text 1021;
  • call 0890 and ask the operator to activate the service.

MTS Internet in Crimea roaming

In general, the tariffs for mobile Internet in the MTS holding are the most “tasty”; just use the “SuperBit” service. True, all these rosy dreams are broken like a surf on the Crimean rocks as soon as you set foot on the peninsula, since there are no 3G networks and certainly no LTE there.

As vacationers say: MTS Internet in Crimea is the worst Internet.

The fact is that WIN seems to be present, but it’s simply impossible to access the Internet. Simple messages on WhatsApp may not be sent, let alone opening websites.

Of course, you can go into the settings of your smartphone, and manual mode switch to another operator, thereby ending up in “real” roaming and surfing for an increased price global network. True, where are the guarantees that another operator’s Internet will be faster?

With the onset of the holiday season, many choose the Crimea peninsula as a vacation destination. And no wonder: beautiful nature, friendly people, convenient infrastructure and a feeling of belonging among your own.

And at this moment the question arises about which operator to choose in order to relax comfortably, not overpay and stay in touch with loved ones.

Despite the fact that Crimea belongs to Russia, telephone operators under the threat of sanctions, they are in no hurry to provide communication services on the territory of the peninsula. And no changes in the situation are expected in the near future, so it’s worth taking care of communication while on vacation in advance.

The only mobile communications provider that fully operates in Crimea and offers prices similar to home ones is MTS.

Official information There is very little information about this even on the official website. The company's public position implies the nominal absence of the company and the actual absence of its offices on the peninsula and international roaming. In fact, you can purchase SIM cards from dealers, and roaming is national, not international. You can find out all your questions in more detail from the call center operators at +78002500890.

Based on the information provided by the customer support service, there is still roaming in Crimea, although not international. Therefore, when traveling to the peninsula, you need to select and connect options for traveling around the country. Without connecting options, communication services will be available, but will cost much more.

Which tariff and options should I choose?

Until April 2018, the “Smart Zabugorishche” tariff was available for connection, which would be ideal for travel, because its conditions are valid throughout the country, including Crimea. Now the tariff is archived and is not available for connection.

The operator currently does not offer a special tariff for the Crimean Peninsula, so it is worth immediately considering options to reduce the cost of services.

"Home package Russia"

The option was created for tariffs with subscription fee. It allows you to use service packages included in the tariff, makes all incoming messages free, and minutes and SMS outside the packages will cost 2 rubles. for a unit. Unlimited Internet will remain unlimited even in national roaming. At package rates, the package is extended at home.

There is a “plus” version for this option, which differs in the way the payment is calculated.

Everywhere is like home Russia

The option is activated only on tariffs without a subscription fee. Once connected, all incoming calls become free.

Bit and Super Bit

The “Bit” option includes 75 MB of traffic per day, and is more suitable for business trips where the Internet is needed to check mail and use instant messengers.

Service " Super Bit"offers 3 GB of traffic per month, and seems to be created for people who escaped the stuffy cities for a week. This volume is not enough for a month, but just enough for an average vacation at sea.

Cost and connection information is shown in the table below.

You can also manage selected services in the company office, personal account and with the help of MTS contact center specialists.

Connecting and disabling roaming

The roaming service is free and basic; it does not require a connection, unless it has been disabled. If there is a need to manage the service, this can be done in your personal account, mobile application, company office, as well as with the help of a call center employee.

Since own base stations MTS does not have one on the peninsula; the device will register itself in the network of local operators. If this does not happen, you can force a connection in the settings of your phone, tablet, router management program, or simply reboot them.

It is important to remember that MTS options, except those listed, do not work in national roaming, so before you forget about everything and enjoy your vacation, remember them and turn them off to avoid unwanted expenses.

For four years, the Republic of Crimea has been part of the Russian Federation, but all-Russian cellular operators still do not consider the new subject of the federation a home region. Except for the MTS company, which de facto included Crimea in the “Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea”. Let's consider and compare current tariff plans MTS on the peninsula, at the same time finding out where in Crimea to purchase the provider’s package and what offers its competitors are addressing to Crimeans and guests of the resort region.

"My Unlimited"

The range of tariffs for the mobile communications and Internet provider MTS is opened by “My Unlimited”, the attractive feature of which is the freedom to choose and configure two options:

  1. number of minutes and SMS;
  2. number of gigabytes of Internet.

“Pay for what you choose,” the provider’s website advertises “Unlimited”. It also provides the opportunity to change selected settings at any day and time in accordance with the client’s changing needs, managing the tariff in the My MTS mobile application for iOS and Android or on the official mts.ru portal in your personal account.

Tariff cost:

  • 300 minutes and 300 SMS (hereinafter - free to other numbers Russian operators) + 5 gigabytes of Internet - 330 (hereinafter - rubles per month);
  • 500 minutes and 500 SMS (hereinafter - 500 / 500) + 5 GB - 480 (hereinafter - from the second month);
  • 700 / 700 + 5 GB - 630;
  • 900 / 900 + 5 GB - 780;
  • 300 / 300 + 10 GB - 390;
  • 500 / 500 + 10 GB - 540;
  • 700 / 700 + 10 GB - 690;
  • 900 / 900 + 10 GB - 840;
  • 300 / 300 + 20 GB - 600;
  • 500 / 500 + 20 GB - 750;
  • 700 / 700 + 20 GB - 900;
  • 900 / 900 + 20 GB - 1050;
  • 300 / 300 + 30 GB - 690;
  • 500 / 500 + 30 GB - 840;
  • 700 / 700 + 30 GB - 990;
  • 900 / 900 + 30 GB - 1140.

Important: the operator advises you to try different variants available options during the first month immediately after connecting to “My Unlimited”. During this trial period the amount debited from the client’s balance for the package does not increase and amounts to 390 rubles. This condition makes the tariff quite acceptable and attractive for guests of the peninsula who spend their holidays at its resorts.

Calls within Russia to subscribers located outside their native region cost 5 rubles after prepaid minutes are used up. / min.

"Hype"

Unique properties of the “Hype” tariff:

  • 100 minutes and 200 SMS for communication and correspondence with clients of third-party cellular companies;
  • 7 gigabytes Internet;
  • stop traffic, that is, unlimited access to “hype” resources - in most popular messengers, social networks, music and online games portals.

Important: some of the “hype” applications and services work using both their own and third party resources. Unlimited traffic does not apply to their traffic, so the mentioned 7 GB will still be used up. So, when using unlimited services, you will have to, according to the provider’s recommendations, monitor the remaining gigabytes in the package and, if desired, order additional gigabytes of traffic.

The cost of “Hyip” is 370 rubles. / month

"Smart"

MTS is positioning this tariff as helping to save money if the client is used to talking a lot and often accessing the Internet from a smart phone.

Smart options:

  • 500 minutes and 500 SMS to numbers of other operators;
  • 4 gigabytes of Internet;
  • The package applies to the entire territory of the Russian Federation.

If this tariff suits a holidaymaker who decides to relax in Crimea, it is not necessary to purchase a SIM card with a “Smart” tariff there, and perhaps at home. Moreover, it is somewhat more convenient than on the peninsula.

The cost of the tariff is 350 rubles. / month

"Smart Zabugorishche"

A special difference between this tariff and other “smart” ones is that payments are made weekly, which, according to the provider’s plan, allows savings for those subscribers who:

  • They talk quite a lot on their cell phones;
  • often travel around the country and abroad;
  • need a fairly large Internet traffic.

With “Smart Zabugorishche” the client receives 350 minutes and 350 SMS for communication and correspondence with subscribers of third-party providers, as well as 7 gigabytes of Internet.

The cost of the tariff is 700 rubles. / month

"Smart Top"

The most important differences between both “Smart Top” and “ULTRA” from other packages of the MTS line in the “Crimean-Krasnodar” region:

  • minutes, SMS and traffic unspent in the outgoing month, which are provided in the main package, are transferred by the provider to the next month;
  • next month the remaining minutes and text messages will be added to his packages;
  • the remaining gigabyte is used up first, and the unused one is no longer transferred, and the use of the main package begins when it is used up;
  • the client has the opportunity to transfer the rest of the web traffic of the previous month to relatives, friends, colleagues, etc., or share via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB, but not using the “Unified Internet” option;
  • when switching to another tariff, nothing unspent is transferred to it.

To view the total balance of paid minutes and SMS, dial *100*1#. To clarify the amount of the transferred balance, look at i.mts.ru or “My MTS”.

Having given preference to “Smart Top”, a Crimean citizen or a guest of the warm republic receives 2000 minutes and 2000 SMS monthly for calls to subscribers of third-party providers, and with them as much as 15 gigabytes of the Internet.

The cost of the tariff is 1300 rubles. / month

"ULTRA"

The difference between the “ULTRA” tariff and the previous one is that with 15 gigabytes, the client is given not 2 thousand, but 3500 minutes and 3500 SMS for communication and correspondence with clients of third-party operators.

The cost of the tariff is 1800 rubles. / month

Please note: when 15 gigabytes are exhausted, you are allowed to order additional package 1 GB (no more than 15 packages per month) costing 150 rubles.

"Smart mini"

The “Smart mini” package is the cheapest, but differs radically from other offers with the word “Smart” in the name: unlike them, its effect does not extend beyond the administrative boundaries of the federal subjects belonging to the home region of MTS.

“Smart mini” is 1000 minutes and 200 SMS for calls to subscribers of third-party providers, 1 GB of Internet.

The cost of the tariff is 250 rubles. / month

Comparison of MTS tariffs in Crimea

It is convenient to compare 2018 tariffs for the “Crimean-Krasnodar” MTS tariff region by looking at the table.

Where to buy an MTS SIM card in Crimea

All-Russian mobile providers do not want to enter Crimea and Sevastopol for fear of Western sanctions and other problems due to work in a region that is the subject of territorial claims.

Presumably, MTS PJSC is also concerned about these issues; in any case, the operator has not yet created a network of offices in Crimea. Starter pack you can buy a provider:

  • at a catering kiosk;
  • at the point of sale of souvenirs for tourists;
  • from a local resident selling SIM cards.

Tariffs of other operators

Russians who come to Crimea to see the sights and relax at the seaside or improve their health in a sanatorium have an alternative - connect to local cellular providers or use the service package of their home provider in domestic Russian roaming.

Crimean providers

Win mobile operator

Local Crimean enterprise Win mobile has provided a special “At Sea” package for sale to holidaymakers:

  • unlimited free incoming calls;
  • outgoing calls to all telephones within the Russian Federation - 3 rubles per minute. Within the network and to peninsula numbers - the same;
  • outgoing SMS - 1.95 rubles;
  • Internet - 10 rub. for 100 MB, if the client uses the gadget as a phone and ordered the special service “Internet at the Sea tariff”.

It is important to know: for customers who do not plan to call, but need the Internet, Win mobile’s assortment includes the “Fast and Furious” package worth 400 rubles. for 15 GB per month.

The provider also has a package “Freedom of Communication” with an additional service “Big Country” for 3 rubles. / day:

  • outgoing within the Russian Federation - 2.95 rubles. / min;
  • SMS to regional phones - 1.50 rubles, across Russia - 1.95 rubles;
  • Internet - 10 rub. / 1MB, 0 rub. when using special services for World Wide Web users.

Volna Mobile has also developed a package of services called “Sea”:

  • calls within the Crimea and Krasnodar regions - 300 min. free;
  • calls throughout your native country - 3 rubles. / min.

There is also a special package for users of the World Wide Web - “Wind”. Traffic volume - 10 GB, monthly price - 300 rubles.

Krymtelecom and Sevmobile: communication - separately, Internet - separately

The Krymtelecom enterprise, whose activities do not extend to the federal city in which the Black Sea Fleet is based, offers vacationers the “My Crimea” package with the following tariffs:

  • calls on the network - free 30 package minutes, 20 kopecks. / min. after they are used up;
  • calls within the republic - 1.50 rubles. / min.;
  • calls throughout the country - 5 rubles. /min;
  • SMS - 1 ruble to local subscribers, 2 rubles. in the Russian Federation.

SevMobile - on the contrary, serving only Hero City - has a "My City" package. For a monthly subscription fee of 180 rubles, free communication and correspondence within the network is provided, 90 minutes are allocated for conversations with subscribers in the region, 3 rubles. / min. for calls within the Russian Federation.

With both providers, to use the World Wide Web you will have to connect an additional service - 200 rubles. / month for 10 gigabytes from Krymtelecom and 300 rubles. at SevMobile.

Roaming

MegaFon: to Crimea - with “Crimea”

MegaFon has a service “Crimea”:

  • subscription fee - 15 rub. / day;
  • There is no charge for incoming calls;
  • for outgoing calls to your home region - 4 rubles. /min;
  • for text message - 3 rubles;
  • Internet - 5 rub. for 1 megabyte.

If a user who came to the peninsula forgot or did not want to connect to the service named in his honor, then all calls will cost 9.99 rubles; text messages - 4.90; 1 MB of traffic - 9.90.

Beeline: no longer abroad, but not yet “My Country”

Beeline stopped operating there only two years after the peninsula was annexed to the Russian Federation international roaming. The provider did not provide any services for vacationers during the entire period; even “My Country” is not available on the peninsula.

The cost of communication, SMS correspondence and traffic depends on the tariff chosen Beeline client in his home region.

TELE-2: black everywhere - gray in Crimea

At the beginning of 2016, news spread about the beginning of the sale of packages with TELE-2 SIM cards in the territorially disputed region, but if sales were carried out, it was only under gray schemes. Currently, the basic tariff is current there: 5 rubles. / min. per call regardless of the call (outgoing or incoming); 5 rub. for 1 megabyte; 3.50 per message.

The option “Like home in Crimea” is available:

  • 30 rubles for connection;
  • 6 per day monthly fee;
  • 0 rub. incoming;
