Guest house Ruslana. Vityazevo, Tolstoy, 10We lived in Ruslan at 10 Tolstoy from 11 to 19 August 13. We booked it back in May, with prepayment. In order: transfer guaranteed; upon arrival, it turned out that the room did not correspond to the description: the bathroom was on the landing, and not in the room... although this was the selection criterion... Instead of the promised four separate beds, the room had a double, a small child-type bed and a battered, battered sofa…. Lyudmila (the owner) tried for a long time to convince that this misunderstanding was a figment of my imagination, exactly until I showed her printouts of our correspondence….. feigning awkwardness, they gave us a discount of one hundred rubles per day…. After such a meeting, honestly, I had only one desire, to leave and find a new place to live…. Lyudmila wondered for a long time why we need a bathroom in the room???? It’s so simple – just walk five steps!!! Past other numbers, I will note... In general, this lady is very good at feigning surprise... Smiling at you, and whispering behind your back... By the way, who is interested in reading what kind of dirt she poured on me in her justification - go to the website "idisyudatochkaru" - how much dirt she poured it on me and accused me of lying for my review…. Apparently other similar reviews are simply deleted there... In general, at five in the morning (we arrived by an early train so as not to waste the day)... During peak season...it would be crazy to leave with a small child.... And, as I understood even then, it would be difficult to get an advance payment out of her... I had to stay. From service discrepancies further: the linen is old.... There are always not enough dishes in the kitchen for everyone... In the evenings there were not enough seats a couple of times... on the websites in the description Ruslana is described as a small guest house - this is not so.... At least 25 rooms….. and all have one gas stove…. With two working burners... (this is apparently an incentive to order food from the owners, to give credit where credit is due, Lyudmila’s mother, according to reviews, is a good cook)… They don’t turn on the split in the kitchen - savings should be economical… but then buy at least another set of chairs for the street…. In general, we lived there…..tolerantly and autonomously…. There is a lot of experience in stopping in the private sector... And we are not spoiled... It could have been worse... But the last day of my stay just made me write this review…. We were kicked out of the room at exactly 12 o'clock... Lyudmila probably remembered... that she still does not have a guest house, but a hotel where the concept of check-out time clearly applies... although the time of our departure was also agreed upon five months in advance... after that it was clarified!!! the maid began knocking on the door exactly at 12. But there was no desire to argue anymore... I wanted to quickly leave the hospitable hosts... The child was left without sleep before the road... we sat waiting for a taxi in the stuffy heat for three and a half hours... . at the same time, the hostess cheerfully sold the room that had been vacated from us.... Nice picture... The season is so short and every penny needs to be saved... At any cost... For the first time, me and my family were treated like this - always, no matter what type of housing I rented, we waited for a taxi in it... housing, and not on chairs in the yard, with suitcases, like refugees... Like an educational program for Lyudmila - if you are a housewife hotels... So please kindly provide the bathrooms with paper and soap...... carry out daily cleaning of the rooms.... Provide each room with a set of dishes... and provide residents with normal bed linen and disposable towels with slippers.... And don’t run after them and check what and how they enter the house…. Taking three sets of slippers with you on vacation is too much... Some for home... The second ones are for the veranda…. And also for going to the kitchen... In general, living there didn’t ruin our holiday... all this annoying disappointment with just the promised conditions... the sea didn’t become dirtier due to Lyudmila’s hospitality and the dolphins didn’t get sick of it... But this attitude was upsetting... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS “TYPE OF HOTEL”...... AND in conclusion: as soon as such a review was posted on the site from which the reservation was made, a sweet smiling girl Lyudmila poured a tub of slop at me and accused me of lying - God be her judge, I am responsible for every word I say and promise her to leave truthful information about the style of her business in all possible resources!!! Yes.... about Vityazevo - a normal resort by the way.... you can live!!! And I also met a lot of good and sympathetic people there... and they are exceptions - exceptions... Luda - You are excluded!!! :)
Guest house "U Ruslana" is a four-story modern cottage located in a new area of the city of Gagra, near the Fountain stop, a 15-minute walk to the beach.
Territory: The guest house is a compact and cozy courtyard with internal amenities for recreational areas: a gazebo with garden furniture, barbecue, etc. Smoking areas and free Wi-Fi are provided. On the ground floor there is a cafe for hotel guests (a menu of Caucasian and European cuisine).

We rested from July 27 to August 10. The guest house, playground, and room fully corresponded to the photo. The room was ready for our arrival, everything was in working order. Bed linen was changed twice, cleaning was done every 4 days (special thanks to the maid for her quality work) .The only thing I would like to ask the owners is to put at least a small piece of soap in the room, because upon arrival there was nothing to even wash our hands with on the way until we got to the store and bought it. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for cooking. It was possible to eat in the guest dining room at home, which they did several times when they wanted to feed the child a freshly prepared lunch.
Electricity, water and gas were turned off several times. The house has its own generator, but they did not turn it on right away (although, as I understand, the time of turning off water and electricity to residents of Vityazev is informed in advance), so the night and about 4 o’clock two days were spent in stuffiness without air conditioning and water, a refrigerator (the food has spoiled). The hostess Lyudmila is quite hospitable, but if the problem is acute, then the answer is always the same: “If something doesn’t suit you, take the money and move out. I have a waiting list of people interested.” This was the answer I received right away upon arrival, when she and I were looking for an error in calculating payment for the room. I witnessed the same response when one of the guests was indignant that he was checked into a room worse than promised. To Lyudmila’s credit, I will add that our incident was quickly settled and did not affect our further communication, although it was unpleasant to receive such a rebuke in the very first minutes upon arrival.
The road to the beach for us (me, mother, child in a stroller) took longer than the stated time, we walked for 20-25 minutes. Several times the child had to be taken out of the stroller because the ramps were very steep.
This was the most comfortable guest house on our street. There are no discos or noisy companies nearby.
