Instructions for updating the server 1c enterprise 8.3. Diagnosis of emergency situations

The 1C company is constantly developing its technological platform - adding new features, increasing productivity, increasing reliability, and so on. In addition, typical configurations regularly increase the requirements for the version of the technological platform. From all this it follows that the platform needs to be updated regularly.

And if updating the platform on client machines, as a rule, does not raise any special questions, then when updating the platform on the server, unpleasant surprises can await us. In this article, I will tell you everything I know about updating the platform on the 1C:Enterprise server.

Training

Like any serious business, updating the platform on the 1C server must begin with preparing everything you need.

You can download the update distribution kit on the support site - https://users.v8.1c.ru/. We go to the "Software Updates" section, select "Technological platform 8.3" from the list of available distributions, then select the version and download either the server separately or the entire technological platform (it includes the server).

Backup

Before upgrading the platform, it is highly recommended to do backups all databases available on the server. This can be done using the platform tools (In the configurator, the menu "Administration" - "Unload infobase ..."):

A backup copy can also be made using DBMS tools (for example, in MS SQL):

Information about licenses and bases

With minor updates (for example, from 8.3.12 to 8.3.13) with software licenses (everything will be fine with hardware) and the list of databases, nothing should happen. But when upgrading from version 8.2 to version 8.3, it is very likely that you will have to re-activate software licenses and prescribe databases (this happened to me more than once).

I recommend collecting and storing in a safe place information about available software licenses- information about the owner, pin codes and more. In addition, I recommend making a list with information about the databases on the server - the name of the database, the name of the database on the DBMS server, and so on.

Update

So, when all the preparations are made, you can start updating.

If you are migrating from 8.2 to 8.3, then the current 8.2 server must be stopped. To avoid data loss, any update is recommended to be performed at a time when users are not working on the server.

We start the installation and select the necessary components - "Server 1C: Enterprise 8" and "Server administration 1C: Enterprise 8", as well as "Web server extension modules" if required:

Select installation as a service and specify the user and password:

After installation, it will not be superfluous to register the administration utility, for this you need to run special team from the start menu (as administrator):

In this article, Integrus engineers will tell you how to update the 1C server. Updating the 1C 8 server, updating the 1C server platform is a task that they often have to face when working with customers.

If, when connecting to the 1C database, a message appears: “To work with the program, it is recommended to use the version of the 1C Enterprise 8 platform not lower than ...”, this means that it's time to update the 1C server platform.

It is most convenient if the maintenance of your IT infrastructure is given to. Then it will be enough to contact the service company and its employees will update the 1C server of the enterprise.

Also, the update of the 1C 8.2 client-server platform (as well as other versions of the platform) can be installed independently, following the instructions for updating the 1C 8.3 server given here.

1. Update 1C server: instructions

How to properly update the server 1C 8.3.

Before you start updating the server 1C 8.2, 8.3, make sure that the characteristics of your hardware correspond system requirements http://v8.1c.ru/requirements/ .

Further preparation for the update will consist of the following steps:

  • download the distribution kit of the current version
  • schedule an update for the evening period so as not to interrupt the work of users while the 1C 8.2 server update is being installed.

Where to get the distribution

You can download the 1C 8.3 server update on the official support website https://users.v8.1c.ru/

  • Select a product version. There is no special designation for 32-bit systems - just “1C enterprise platform for Windows”, while inside it contains both client and server part. 64-bit versions, as well as Linux Debian, MAC, thin clients and others have a corresponding description.
  • Unpack the downloaded archive into a folder on the 1C server or another place from where you have access to the 1C server.

Preparing work and blocking users during installation

  • Before performing any actions with the databases, be sure to make backups before updating the 1C server and test unpacking the backups.
  • Log in to the server and open the Central Servers 1C:Enterprise 8.3 snap-in. Here, go to the "Clusters" list and select "Sessions". If at this moment users are working with the database, then notify them of the need to save the data and leave 1C (otherwise the unsaved data will be lost). Delete hung sessions manually.
  • Before updating the 1C 8.3 platform on the server, block new sessions for users - in the administration console, open the list of databases, select the one you need, call context menu, select Properties.

  • In the window, check the box "Session start blocking is enabled", configure the blocking settings and apply it.
  • Upload the *.dt file with the database using the administration tools via the Configurator > Administration > database upload.

Unloading and loading of the infobase were considered in more detail. Sometimes the procedure takes 15-25 minutes, it all depends on the volume of the base.

  • Next you will need a password local user, on behalf of which the 1C enterprise server is launched (by default, this is usr1cv82). Often, the launch settings are changed and they log in on behalf of the system account.

  • Run the setup.exe file from the unpacked archive.

  • In the window that opens, select which program components to install or update.

  • In the next window, leave the value “Default” and click the “Next” button.
  • Next, enter the user details operating system, under which the server processes will be launched (the usr1cv82 user and the password assigned to him).

  • In the next window, you do not need to specify anything, just click "Install".
  • After the installation is complete, you will be prompted to install the protection driver. Install it if you are using a hardware security key.

  • After that, click "Finish" and review the Readme file to see how this version differs from previous ones.

  • Go to your database and check the 1C version.

Please note that previous 1C releases are not automatically deleted when updates are installed (in fact, the system is not updated, but a new version is simply installed in parallel with the previous one). If necessary, they can be removed standard means operating system.

Go through the entire process of installing the 1C 8.3 platform update on the server, then update the 1C server clients at the workplace, since clients of newer versions “can” work with more early versions server, but not vice versa.

We sincerely hope that our instructions for updating the 1C 8.3 server platform helped you. If you have any questions or need advice on how to update the 1C 8.3 server, please contact us.

Faced with configuration errors after updating the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 platform? The problem is that the 1C server where the developers work was not immediately updated, and due to the difference in versions in the Storage (to which both the Working DB and the developers' databases are connected), errors began to appear! To avoid such troubles in the future, a step-by-step (so as not to forget anything) instruction was compiled for updating the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform ...

If a large multi-user database is used, the development of which is carried out through the storage, then to ensure the integrity of the configuration structure and to prevent errors with the configuration cache, you need to update the 1C: Enterprise 8.2 platform in the following way:

(NOTE: Updating on servers and client machines must be done as an installation new version, and not as an update to an existing one (to preserve the possibility of rolling back to a previous version of the platform))

  • 1) Do full copy working database means SQL Server;
  • 2) Developers in their test databases should finish making changes and put all captured objects into the main storage, and disconnect from the Storage. Developers should then close all connections to their test databases;
  • 3) Set a lock on the working database and close all sessions;
  • 4) In the workbase configurator, connect to the Storage and get all objects from the storage. Save all configuration changes and update the database configuration, disconnect from the Vault. Close the working database configurator;
  • 5) Stop the service "Server Agent 1C: Enterprise 8.2 ..." on the working server. If the Server Cluster includes other production servers, you must also stop this service on those servers;
  • 6) Make another full copy (to save the received changes from the Repository) or a differential copy (to save disk space) of the working database;
  • 7) Make a copy of the working directory of the 1C Server Cluster. The path to this directory can be viewed on the central 1C server in the properties of the service "Server Agent 1C: Enterprise 8.2 ...": parameter -d;
  • 8) Update the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 platform on the central working server and on all other working servers included in the Server Cluster (for updating, you need to run setup.exe and install through the Wizard). If a 64-bit version of the server is installed, then you need to run the appropriate installer. In addition, it is necessary to update 32-bit components (Client applications, Cluster Console, and others);
  • 9) Update the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 platform on computers that are 1C:Enterprise 8.2 servers for developers. The update is carried out in the same way as described in the 8th paragraph of this manual;
  • 10) Update the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 platform on all other 1C servers (for example, servers that host Test Databases or backup 1C servers);
  • 11) Check that on the central 1C server and on other working servers included in the 1C Server Cluster, the “Server Agent 1C: Enterprise 8.2…” service has started and is running;
  • 12) Open the working database configurator and perform IS tables restructuring through the IS Testing and Fixing tool;
  • 13) Create a new repository from the working database configurator;
  • 14) Make another full copy of the working database (to save the restructuring of tables) using SQL Server;
  • 15) In all test databases of developers, connect to the NEW Storage, get all the data, save and update the configurations;
  • 16) On all other test databases that are not connected to the Storage, perform the operation described in paragraph 12 OR restore these databases from the last copy of the working database with restructuring performed (see paragraph 14);
  • 17) On the computers of developers, clear the cache of 1C:Enterprise 8.2 configurations;
  • 18) Update the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 client application on user computers, terminal server;
  • 19) Check the correctness of the nethasp.ini configuration file (problems with network security keys);
  • 20) Perform a trial run of a working database from a client machine under user rights (run from an updated platform)

To install an update to the 1C 8.3 or 8.2 platform, you must first decide in which mode the work takes place - in file or client-server mode:

  • In file mode, it is enough to update client computers with 1C one distribution kit;
  • In the client-server version, you will need to install different distributions on the server and client machines.

The process of updating the 1C platform is no different from normal installation- you don't even have to go to the database configurator. Consider where to get the installation files and how to install each of the options yourself.

When you purchase a licensed copy of a product on the 1C:Enterprise platform, the box includes a disk with distributions of the program, but most likely this disk will already contain previous version platforms. Because 1C 8.3 platform updates Lately are released quite often, then manufacturers do not have time to write down new versions in a timely manner, distribute them to sellers, and even after the release of a new version, these kits lose their relevance.

When purchasing standard products, registration data for access to the https://users.v8.1c.ru/ portal is supplied for a period of six months, after which it is possible to conclude an agreement to extend the corresponding services.

On the support site, you need to find the correct version of your platform:

Client 1C update

In case of installation in the file version, the 1C platform must be installed on all local computers with which you want to work in the program. Let's consider updating the 1C:Enterprise system in the Microsoft Windows environment.

After receiving the distribution kit, you must run the setup.exe installer from the platform installation folder.

The next window prompts you to select the interface language, most likely you are interested in "Russian"

In the next window, you must confirm the start of the installation with the "Install" button

You need to wait a bit for the installation to complete. If your license requires operation via a USB hardware key, you must also install the protection driver. If you have software keys (pin codes in an envelope), then you will need to enter them at the first start

After finishing all installations, click "Finish" if you want to learn more about brief description current version, set the "Open Readme file" flag.

Update 1C on the server

In the case of updating in the client-server version, it is similarly required to install a local instance of the platform on all computers from which access to the database is required, and it is also necessary to install the server part of the program on the application server. Also, to work in this mode, you need an installed and running DBMS supported by the 1C platform, such as:

  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle Database
  • PostgreSQL
  • IBM DB2

Updating the DBMS itself, as a rule, is not required.

Updating the 1C platform on the server is similar to installing a local instance on workstations, however, in the component selection list, you must allow the installation of "1C: Enterprise Server" and "1C: Enterprise Server Administration"

Also, after choosing the interface language, you must specify in what form the server part of the 1C platform will be installed: as a separate application, or as a MS Windows service. It is recommended to install the system exactly as a service; for this, you must additionally specify the user on behalf of which this service will be launched. Or it is possible to create a separate user to run the 1C server part.

After successful installation, you will also need to install the application solution, create and connect information bases and activate licenses.

If you have such a window when you start any 1C infobase, this means that you are working with an outdated platform and it needs to be updated:

It is strongly discouraged to continue working with the current version of the platform, as this can lead to unpredictable consequences.

To update, you can contact a specialist, or you can do it yourself, there is nothing complicated. Consider how to update the 1s 8.3 platform on your own in two simple steps. This instruction also suitable for the transition from the platform 1C 8.2 to 8.3.

If you already have setup file, then proceed to the next section "Installation".

So, go to the support site (https://users.v8.1c.ru/):

We are interested in the "Software Updates" section.

On the next page of the site, you need to enter the Login and Password that you received when concluding the contract for information technology support (ITS):

We are interested in the line "Technological platform 8.3". We click on this link and get to the page with version numbers:

Naturally, we are interested in the latter, that is, the upper one. Again, click on the link and here select the platform for Windows ( this section contains platforms for Linux, and, and much more, it is important not to confuse!):

Finally, we can download the distribution. In the next window, click on the link "Download distribution kit". We save the distribution kit in some folder on the disk. Your browser may automatically start downloading if it has a default folder configured.

Now in the explorer we are looking for the downloaded file. The distribution file is an archive, so it must be unpacked into a separate folder.

1C platform installation

After unpacking, look for the setup.exe file in the list of files and run it:

The installation process will begin. It is no different from installing any other program, the only question may arise when a window appears with a choice of installed components.

Our video about installing the update 1C 8.3, 8.2 or 8.1:

After updating the 1C platform, if necessary, you can proceed to.

Server update 1C 8.3

The process of updating the 1C platform on the server is no different from the usual update above. The only condition is that you need to choose the right distribution kit for the application. Please note that the installation file of the server application is of two types - 32 and 64 bits.

But at the first installation, the minimum settings are already set by default to get started. If you need other settings (for example, if the infobase is located on the server), then it is better to contact a specialist.

After installation, the program is ready for use, you can either add configurations, infobases and work.
