Marvo Tech is a mouse customization program. Mouse customization. Working with the program

A program for remapping the keys of standard and five-button mice. Thanks to the support for emulation layers, it allows us to apply up to five additional actions for each mouse button that we do not use. allows you to "hang" any (even complex) keyboard shortcuts, system commands, browser and player control commands, etc.

No matter how many developers try to invent new manipulators for a computer, so far there is nothing better and more convenient than a mouse in mass access :).

This relatively simple (structurally) device allows us to freely control our PC when performing any task, be it viewing media files, working with office software, or a modern 3D game. The mouse is literally always at hand and we are so used to it that we can hardly imagine working at a computer without it.

The classic mouse today has at least two function keys and a scroll wheel. Moreover, the latter, in addition to scrolling up and down, also has the function of pressing, therefore it is also called the middle (or third) mouse button. But this is only a minimum ...

There are mice with several dozen keys and a couple of scroll wheels, as well as even more exotic controls, such as various verniers (second meaning).

Gamers and video editors love to use these mice, as the additional keys can be assigned different commands that make it faster and easier to perform various actions that usually require using the keyboard.

These mice usually come with special software in the kit, which allows you to customize all the buttons on the mouse at your discretion. However, there is also software that can add functionality to simple mice that everyone has!

About the theory and practice of remap

Remap or remapping (from the English "remapping" - reassignment) is the process of replacing one specific parameter of the system with another. In our case, we will talk about remapping in the context of reassigning mouse keys (although you can remap, for example, a keyboard, hard drive or monitor (if there are dead pixels)).

It all started with the gift of a Pleomax MOC-315B wireless mouse for my birthday. Unlike the usual one, which I used before, my new product turned out to have two additional buttons on the sides of the usual left and right keys.

On verification, it turned out that these keys perform the function "Back" and "Forward" in the browser, and are also suitable for switching tracks in the playlist of the music player. It was already something, but in practice I only used the "Back" function. So the idea was ripe to use the buttons in a more rational way through remapping.

The kit with the mouse came with a disk with a standard program for monitoring the state of the battery charge and (oh, happiness! :)) the ability to change the functions of the buttons. However, for verification, it turned out that it was not a remap that was offered, but simply "hanging" by pressing the call of an executable file of any program.

But I wanted more :) The plans were to implement keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting text using these buttons. And so the final result of my searches was a British program for intercepting "mouse" events X-Mouse Button Control.

Comparison with paid analogue

The owners of five-button mice will get the maximum benefit from the X-Mouse Button Control (although on ordinary mice we often do not use, for example, the click of the wheel, which can also be used for our own purposes), in which, in addition to the traditional keys and the wheel, there are two more function buttons. A similar functionality is also offered by the Key Remapper program:

As you can see from the comparison, X-Mouse Button Control does not know how to remap the keyboard, but it has more options for remaping mouse keys than any other program. Plus, it is practically the only application that will work equally well on 32-bit Windows XP and, for example, 64-bit Windows 8.1!

Program installation

The X-Mouse Button Control is installed in the traditional way - using the installer, which can be downloaded in the archive from our website. Run the installer and accept the license agreement by clicking "I Agree":

Here we are offered the opportunity to choose the location to save the program's configuration file. By default it is placed in your user profile folder, however for portability you can specify the folder where all X-Mouse Button Control executable files are stored. To do this, just indicate it in the specially designated field.

The checkbox “Delete (reset) any existing X-Mouse Button Control settings” serves to forcibly delete all existing settings (if the program was previously installed and you are updating it).

After that, the installation process will be completed as usual and will not require special intervention.

Launch and Russification of the program

After installation, X-Mouse Button Control will launch as a tray icon:

Calling the context menu of this icon, we will see that it is completely in English, therefore, first of all, I propose to enable the Russian-language interface. To do this, press the "Setup" item (or double-click the icon with the left mouse button) and go to the settings window:

Here we need to click the "Settings" button (in the lower left corner) and on the "General" tab of the opened settings window, select "Russian (Russian)" in the "Language" drop-down list, and then click "Ok". Now we go to the main settings window and press the “Apply” button (in the lower right corner) to apply the settings, and we can close the window - the program interface has become Russian-language.

Tray context menu

Let's call the context menu of the X-Mouse Button Control icon and consider its already Russian version in more detail:

It consists of four sections:

  1. The first section contains only one item - "Layers". If we hover over this item, we will see a pop-up window with a list of five layers. They are needed so that you can configure additional actions for the same mouse keys. Since we have five layers, it turns out that you can set up to five actions for each mouse button! The currently active layer is marked with a check mark and in this menu you can quickly switch layers by clicking on them.
  2. In the second section, we have four functions:
    • "Settings" - opens the program settings window, which will be discussed below;
    • "Hide Icon" - hides the X-Mouse Button Control icon in the tray (I do not recommend doing this, so as not to search for the program later :));
    • "Open LOG file" - opens the program event log, which can be useful when analyzing problems, if any;
    • Disable X-Mouse Button Control - allows you to temporarily disable the interception of mouse events, while keeping the program running.
  3. There are two points in the third section. The first allows you to remember the current location of icons on the desktop, and the second - to restore this location at any time.
  4. The last section contains the "Exit" item, which allows you to close the program completely.

Mouse Button Settings in X-Mouse Button Control

The main window of the X-Mouse Button Control is "Settings", so let's go to them by clicking the corresponding item in the menu:

Globally, the settings window is divided into two sections: on the left there is a list of profiles (in fact, sets of settings), and on the right, there are tabs for managing action emulation layers for all mouse buttons.

By default, only one profile ("Default") is created in the left part, for which in the right section you can configure up to five layers of emulation and parameters for processing mouse events.

The parameters of this profile apply to the entire system, however, you can create additional profiles for any installed application by clicking the "Add" button below and specifying the required program in which you need to change the functionality of the additional mouse buttons.

Setting up a layer is very simple. First, give it a name in the "Layer name" field (to make it easier to find and switch to this layer in the list). Then we can start binding certain actions to the desired keys.

Press the mouse button that we want to remap and, if it is supported by the program, it will be highlighted in yellow in the list of layer buttons. Open the drop-down list of the highlighted key and indicate the required action (in the screenshot above, you can see that I reconfigured the copy and paste actions for additional keys).

There are quite a few functions in the list, but all of them can be divided into several groups:

  • emulation of pressing one keyboard key (for example, Enter or Escape);
  • emulation of pressing system keyboard shortcuts (CTRL + C, CTRL + V, etc.);
  • emulation of various system actions (working with the volume, calling the screensaver, turning off the PC, etc.);
  • browser functions (go to bookmarks, refresh the page, etc.);
  • mouse clicks and scroll wheel operations;
  • opening service tools (control panel, network or any other folder);
  • internal program functions (switching layers, activating modifier keys, etc.);
  • emulation of manually set complex keyboard shortcuts (item "Simulated keys (undefined)").

If you did not find the function you need in the list (or it does not work correctly), then you can set the emulation of your own specified actions using the "Simulated keys (undefined)" item:

In the window that opens, we will have the opportunity to enter the codes of the desired buttons or functions in a special field, as well as configure the pressing parameters at which the specified action will take place.

For some tap parameters, you can also set a delay before simulating a second tap. The rest of the space below is for displaying quick help on key and function tags, as well as internal program commands that we can use to create simple scripts.

When the buttons of the selected layer are set, we will only have to click the "Apply" button and the specified parameters of interception of actions will be used.

Additional settings

In principle, the actions described above are quite enough for the effective work of the program, however, there are a number of additional options in the X-Mouse Button Control. The first is the Scrolling and Navigation tab (the last one in the list of layers):

Here we have fine-tuning the scrolling with the mouse wheel when viewing documents or navigating the Internet.

There are no particularly useful functions here, but I advise you to pay attention to the possibility of enabling page-by-page scrolling (to quickly jump to the desired page in a multi-page document, for example) or, conversely, setting the number of scroll lines (for more precise or coarse positioning).

As in the case of layers, the parameters you specified will be activated immediately after clicking the "Apply" button.

However, the above tab is not all the program options. All others are hidden under the "Settings" button in the lower left corner:

Here, all parameters are divided into four tabs. The first two contain various additional options related to the operation and appearance (for example, the interface language) of the program itself.

I would like to pay special attention to the last two. These are the Hotkeys and Modifier Keys tabs. On both tabs, we can set keyboard shortcuts that will allow you to quickly activate one or another X-Mouse Button Control function.

The only difference is that hotkeys are used to switch the program operation mode, and modifier keys change the mode only for a while, while they are held down, and when released, the standard functionality set in the profile is returned.

I advise you to activate the hotkeys for selecting a simulation layer if you plan to use three or more layers. If you are not going to activate more than two layers, then you are better off using the modifier keys.

The last interesting and useful function for many is hidden in the "General" tab. This is the function of scrolling the window over which the cursor is currently located (it is activated by the first checkbox).

In a couple of this function, you can also include the second checkbox "Activate window when scrolling". It will allow you to quickly switch focus to the window in which you are currently scrolling.

Advantages and disadvantages of the program

  • works on all systems;
  • a large selection of pre-installed functions;
  • the ability to create your own functions and simple scripts;
  • setting up to five functions for each mouse button;
  • Creation of emulation profiles for any application.
  • does not allow remaping the keyboard;
  • does not always work correctly with wheel tilts to the sides.

conclusions

I worked with X-Mouse Button Control both on Windows XP and on the latest version of the "Eight" (64 bit), so I can safely recommend this program as the most versatile remapper of mouse keys!

The main advantage of this program is that it allows you to work with several layers of emulation, which gives us the opportunity to expand the functionality of not only five-key mice (with two additional buttons), but also standard ones!

The only significant drawback that I encountered was that the recognition of the tilt of the mouse wheel was not working correctly. In Windows XP, this function did not work at all, and in the G8 it was activated, but when tilted, the selected action is performed twice. I wrote to the developer about this bug and, hopefully, it will be fixed soon :).

It was also noticed that in Windows 8.1, in the latest official release at the moment (XMBC v. 2.6.2), emulation of the side keys on some layers sometimes disappears :(. If you also encounter such a problem, then I advise you to upgrade to the beta version 2.7.3 (just in case, added it to the archive), in which this bug has already been fixed.

Now, I think, you are ready to fully implement the transition to a qualitatively higher level of comfort when working with your favorite mouse :). Use X-Mouse Button Control and you can greatly speed up and simplify your daily work on your PC!

How to change mouse settings. In modern computers, for many users, the computer mouse plays the main role in control. Rarely who can work without her. How to choose a computer mouse? , I already told about the Types of computer mice, too. It's time to talk about setting them up. The work of the mouse does not always suit us, but some do not even suspect that it can be customized. Now we'll talk about how to change the mouse settings.

In order to get to the mouse settings in Windows 7, you need to go to the menu - Start - Control Panel ... In the window Control panels in a small window Search at the top right, write the word “ mouse". And a list of all your mouse settings will open on the left.

Setting up a computer mouse in Windows 7

In Windows XP, you also need to call the menu Start - Control Panel ... And in the window Control panels find the icon Mouse... Open this folder with a double click and go to the settings.

Setting up a computer mouse in Windows XP

Note

I will describe the mouse settings using the example of Windows XP, especially since they do not differ at all from the same settings in Windows 7.

The most important mouse setting is its sensitivity and setting up a double click on the main button. The optimal settings depend on the specific model and the way you work.

Mouse sensitivity is the reaction of the pointer to its movement. Check if you can slide the pointer across the entire screen diagonally without lifting your wrist from the table top, that is, moving only your fingers. If you can't do this, then you need to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse.

Adjusting mouse sensitivity

  • Open the window Properties: Mouse (Start- Control Panel- Mouse) .
  • Go to the tab Pointer parameters .
  • Move the slider on the panel Moving in the necessary direction. By moving the slider to the right, the mouse will become even more sensitive, and to the left - less.
  • Check the box to record Enable Enhanced Pointer Precision ... Your pointer will now move slowly at first and then accelerate. This will come in handy when working in graphic editors. In games, especially where you have to aim the weapon at the target, checking this box will only hinder you and slow down the player's reaction.
  • Very interesting panel Visibility... You can try checking the boxes for different functions, but these bells and whistles interfere with the work. But this is how anyone.

Very interesting panel Visibility in the mouse settings window.

Double click setting

  • In the same window, go to the tab Mouse buttons .
  • On the panel Double-click speed double-click the left mouse button on the yellow daddy. If your two clicks opened this folder, then everything is fine. If not, then set up a double click by moving the slider Speed .

In the Double-Click Speed pane, double-click the yellow daddy with the left mouse button.

  • If you are left-handed, you can change the purpose of the mouse buttons on the panel Button configuration ... Just check the box next to the entry Swap button assignments ... Don't forget to save your settings with the button Apply and OK .
  • I do not advise you to install sticking, otherwise any of your mouse clicks, especially when working with text editors, will catch and drag any object along with it.

How to change the mouse pointer

  • Go to the tab Pointers .
  • Open the dropdown list (click on the small black triangle on the right) in the panel Scheme .
  • Select a scheme.
  • Below in the settings, also select the type of pointer and click the button Apply .
  • If you are tired of all these schemes or do not suit you, then press the button Default .
  • By pressing the button Overview, you can load many more cursors from the system folder Cursors... In the same folder (C: \ WINDOWS \ Cursors) you can load your cursors, and select them from there.

Open the drop-down list (click on the small black triangle on the right) in the Schematic panel. Select a scheme.

In the tab Wheel nothing needs to be changed. You can just experiment.

You don't need to change anything on the Wheel tab. You can just experiment.

In the tab Equipment can see how your system detects your mouse.

This is how you can customize your computer mouse for yourself.

Write in the comments what incidents you had with the mouse and how you fixed it. Maybe it will be useful to someone.

The first computer mouse appeared in 1984. Introducing the first Macintosh, which then cost $ 2,500, Apple wrote in a press release: “Users tell the Macintosh what to do by moving the mouse, a small pointing device. or a graphic symbol on the screen. With the mouse, users no longer need to memorize the many confusing keyboard commands that are used in conventional computers. It makes learning faster and easier to operate the computer. " Since then, the computer mouse has become a household name, and its name has long ceased to be put in quotes. First, it became a two-button, then a three-button, later got rid of the ball and wires, became multi-colored and took on its original shape. Despite the fact that the modern mouse has many more features than its great-grandmother from the early eighties, new ways to expand its functionality are constantly emerging. This review contains some utilities, the main purpose of which is to make working with the mouse more convenient.

The main drawback of this utility is that it officially supports only those manipulator models released by Microsoft. Despite the fact that each mouse model of this company is necessarily equipped with a disk with the IntelliPoint utility written on it, we recommend downloading a newer version of this free program. Microsoft updates the utility from time to time to add new features and support for the latest mice. We think many are familiar with the "multi-button mouse syndrome": after working with such a device for some time, it is simply impossible to return to the classic version with three buttons. And the fault is all - additional features that provide "extra" buttons. On sale you can find dozens of multi-button mice from a variety of manufacturers. Many of them give the impression of multifunctional devices. However, upon detailed study, it may turn out that the beautiful design is deceiving - the function for each button is "hardwired" into the device, and no software can change it. At best, a program is attached to the mouse, with which you can select one of several options for functions. Among which, as a rule, it is not the one that you need. As for the manipulators from Microsoft, this option is out of the question here. Even the old branded three-button mouse can be configured to perform various actions. And what can we say about modern models like the Laser Mouse 6000! For the utility to work correctly with the device, you must select the type of mouse in the Connected device list. The figure will schematically show the selected model with its inherent key arrangement. For each key there is a drop-down list of assigned commands. So that you do not make a mistake in the key, in the picture with your model, the button for which this or that function is currently assigned is highlighted. Interestingly, in addition to commands like Close or Double Click, the utility allows you to assign a combination of sequential pressing of any keys, which is especially convenient if you work with applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Word, MS Excel, etc. and not only knocks Morse code into computer games, IntelliPoint can make life a lot easier.

However, they did not forget about those who like to kill time at the computer. For any key, you can even assign the Gaming Toggle function, which allows you to alternately use two sets of keys, up to 16 keystrokes each. Well, on top of that, IntelliPoint will make sure that your wireless mouse doesn't drain prematurely. After determining that the supply voltage of the device has decreased, the program will display a warning message.

As a rule, all "mouse" software is divided into two groups: those that control the functions of the buttons and those that make it possible to use the menu that pops up in the cursor area. From this menu, you can open documents, launch programs, follow an Internet link, etc. MouseLaunch belongs to the second group. This small utility can be used on any mouse model, even the most rare one - two-button and without scrolling. With MouseLaunch, you can quickly launch various applications by selecting them from the square menu. To call the menu on the screen, you need to simultaneously click the left and right mouse buttons or click on the program icon in the notification area.

Eight shortcuts fit in one menu. At first glance, the question arises, why not add the possibility of placing a ninth label in the middle of it. The answer is simple: the middle cell is used to switch between menus, of which there are three in the program. They are designated as middle (default), right and left. To switch between them, use the icon in the form of three squares in the middle cell. Thus, using MouseLaunch, you can define up to 24 shortcuts for shortcuts to programs, to open files and web pages. You can add them to the menu by simply dragging them to the desired square. To call an application or file already placed in the menu, you just need to left-click on the cell. Right-clicking gives you the option to remove the shortcut or move it to another menu or cell. It is very convenient that when you click on the shortcut, the MouseLaunch window immediately disappears, saving the user from unnecessary actions. For those who are not enough 24 cells, the developers offer an additional 24 places to store labels. In order to access them, you need to hold down the Shift key while invoking the menu. The program also has an interesting, albeit useless, statistics function that shows which of the cells is used most often.

MouseLaunch is distributed as shareware, the trial version can be downloaded from here.

This utility helps to extend the functionality of the middle mouse button. Cool Mouse has two sets of commands: for clicking with the middle button on the window title and for clicking on the inner area of the window. Clicking on a title can minimize the window, leaving only the title, or place its icon in the notification area. In addition, when you click with the middle mouse button on the window title, the Start menu may appear or some program may be launched. The path to this application must be specified in the utility settings. Another possible command is to call a menu with a set of almost all of the above functions, from which you can select the one you need at the moment.

The set of commands that can be executed by clicking the middle button on the inner area of the window is somewhat wider. For example, you can use it to copy / paste selected sections of text. Once launched, the Cool Mouse icon is placed in the notification area, and by clicking on it, you can quickly change the commands to be executed when the middle mouse button is pressed. In addition, you can temporarily pause the program. It is also possible to predetermine the applications for which windows the commands should be executed other than those selected for all windows. Additionally, the program makes it possible to compile a list of folders that you access most often. They can be accessed from the windows for opening and saving the document by clicking on the button? in the upper right corner of the window with the right mouse button.

Cool Mouse is distributed as shareware, the trial version can be downloaded from here.

The Opera browser has an interesting ability to perform different actions with the mouse. I drew some shape with the mouse in the browser window - and the program reacts to it, stopping the page loading, refreshing it, etc. It would seem that without such an opportunity, you can do just fine, but, getting used to such operations, you begin to notice that they begin to be lacking while working with other applications. Sign & Run works like the Mouse Gestures option in Opera and gives you the ability to link any shape you draw with your mouse to the launch of an application or any other file. It works as follows: the Record button is pressed in the program window, after which a figure is drawn in a special field. Then it links to any file. The program can respond to gestures that are performed by the left, middle or right mouse buttons.

Sign & Run is free, you can download it from here.

Conclusion

Throughout the history of mankind, there were people who were considered by their contemporaries to be at least eccentric. And all because these "eccentrics" tried to take a fresh look at everyday things, giving them a new meaning. Sometimes these attempts ended in failure, and then the brave Icarus with cardboard wings fell down, and Giordano Bruno and his ilk were persecuted for "dissent". But sometimes, as a result of bold assumptions, great discoveries were born. Therefore, you should not be skeptical about those who are trying to improve the wheel, even if it is a mouse wheel. Perhaps this will have serious consequences in the future. Of course, you can do without all the programs described above. But, having tried it once and getting used to the fact that the mouse has received additional features, it is quite difficult to refuse to use them. Quick launch of applications from the Quick Launch window, assigning different keyboard shortcuts to additional keys, minimizing windows by clicking on the title, opening the CD / DVD drive tray after drawing a circle with the mouse cursor - all this is very convenient and worth using.

In online shooters, the most important thing depends on the sensitivity of the mouse: the accuracy and speed of aiming. Thanks to the ability to fine-tune gaming mice, players can customize the manipulator for themselves and start a career as a professional fighter in their favorite game.

An insurmountable obstacle can get in the way in the form of a misunderstanding of the terms associated with setting the mouse, and not knowing which settings will be optimal for you. There are no standard mouse sensitivity settings for online shooters, but we will try to highlight the key features and recommendations for them. This assumes you have a gaming mouse. Otherwise, you won't be able to get a real hand extension. Mouse customization is carried out in several stages, they all complement each other.

1) Settings for sensitivity and acceleration in Windows

We need in the properties of the mouse (Start -> Control Panel -> Mice) set the pointer speed slider in the middle (Pointer Options tab) and disable the increased precision of the indicator so that Windoows does not affect the speed of movement in any way and does not allow the manipulator to skip pixels. This completes the mouse setup in the operating system.

2) Mouse setup via software

Now is the time to move on to the most important part of customizing your mouse - adjusting the sensitivity through the software that came with your device. As an example, the author of the article uses a gaming mouse. Razer DeathAdder Chroma... The program is used to configure this mouse. Razer Synapse... The most important thing for us is to adjust the DPI (how many dots on the screen the mouse will pass when moving per inch on the mat) and again turn off all software accelerations (we don't need to skip pixels when moving the mouse). Of course, everyone chooses DPI based on personal preferences, but here you can get confused.

For online shooters, it is recommended to use a low DPI value: in most cases, it will do 800 DPI... Professional players use even less value, but this may seem too inconvenient from habit. The lower the DPI value, the more you need to move the mouse to get from edge to edge of the screen. Consequently, a lower value is more accurate and accurate shooting, but more complex control. The higher the DPI, the less you need to move the mouse, but too high a value can make the game completely impossible - the scope will twitch, and precise aiming will cause inconvenience and even overvoltage. Among inexperienced players, there is a perception that the more DPI a mouse has, the cooler. This is a misconception if we take online shooters into account.

It's good if the mouse setting in the supplied software allows you to separately change the DPI for both the X and Y axes. We recommend trying to lower the DPI along the Y axis relative to the X axis by 30-50 percent. In my case, I managed to find an interesting combination 800x500 and 800x600... Indeed, in fact, vertical movement of the mouse in online shooters is done less often and not as intensely as horizontal movement. In addition, it will prevent the camera from moving suddenly up or down (if the mouse was accidentally moved).

Also, if your mouse supports several DPI settings and switching between them while playing with a button, then you can safely experiment and enter different values to determine the optimal one. As a result, your mouse will have settings that will work the same on any computer. You can't do this without using a gaming mouse. That is why it is customary in esports to come to LANs with their own devices.

3) Adjusting the mouse sensitivity inside the game

In almost every online shooter, you can make additional adjustments to the sensitivity of the mouse. Moreover, this can usually be done both for shooting from the hip and for shooting through the scope. It is worth choosing these values after you have charged your gaming mouse with the settings from the first and second steps. A good step is to test the hotkeys for changes in mouse sensitivity right in the game. Usually these are the keys "[" and "]", "" or "-" and "+". You shouldn't ignore these settings. No professional gamer will play with the standard parameters, especially since most often they speed up the mouse or do anti-aliasing (you should definitely turn it off).

It is also recommended that you get large play rugs. In my case, I managed to get a rug from the same Razer (Razer Goliathus Speed Large). Do not be skeptical about such a rug, but you can save money by buying a cheaper model. This will give you room for maneuvers - you don’t have to huddle on a small patch, and given that we are trying to lower DPI in online shooters, you will have to move the mouse intensively. In addition, these rugs will last a long time.

The computer mouse appeared in the early 80s. Naturally, then it became a real revolution, because it became much easier to work with a computer, the learning process accelerated. Over time, mice have changed a lot, at first the ball inside the device disappeared, a third button appeared. Now it is already possible to purchase multifunctional wireless manipulators, which are becoming more and more popular every day. However, users are still trying to improve their own device, to make it more functional and convenient. To do this, you need to download a program for the mouse, because a lot of them have been developed at the moment. If you manage to download such a program, then you can add many interesting and useful functions, which will further simplify and speed up your work at the computer.

One of the best utilities in this area is Cool Mouse. You can download the program for free, because the developers do not require money for this software. The size of the application is relatively small, so even users without high-speed Internet can download and install the software on their computer. The main purpose of Cool Mouse is to add new functions to the middle mouse button. Moreover, you can set two sets of commands at once, depending on the situation. So, if you click the middle key on the window title, the window itself, with the exception of its title, will be minimized or placed in the notification area. You independently decide what exactly will happen when you press the manipulator. Among other things, when clicked, new windows may appear or other programs may start. All this is set in the Cool Mouse settings after you have managed to download the software.

The commands that are used when working with the inner part of the window are much more interesting and varied. For example, it is enough to download the Cool Mouse program to use the middle mouse button to copy or paste information. In general, the utility is more than useful, especially for people who often have to resort to using additional functions. By clicking with the mouse on a certain part of the screen, you give a command to perform new functions. It is very simple and convenient, for this very reason many users try to download the application and install it on their computer.

For statistics download the program for the mouse for free Ashampoo MouseTracer

The following program is recommended for those users who like to read statistics of one kind or another. This is a simple and handy utility that will share unusual and funny information with you. Daily mileage of your mouse, total mileage for the entire time of using the application, speed of movement - these and some other data you will receive while working with Ashampoo MouseTracer.

As promised, I'll show you how to macro any mouse. For the review I chose the Macros Effect program, because it supports the Oscar syntax and all the macros that will be in my reviews can be used on ordinary office mice. Also, the plus of this program is that there are a lot of macros on X7 on the network, which means you do not need to spend time rewriting third-party macros for yourself, you just need to pull the code from the AMC file and transfer it to the Macros Effect window. See how this is done from the video.

What you need:

1. Any mouse with at least two left and right keys

2. A program for emulating a macro on a mouse

Let's start macroing:

1. Download the archive with the Macros Effect program (the program is checked by the DrWeb antivirus)

2. Run the program on the computer

Let me tell you briefly about the simple Macros Effect interface:

Script window, a macro for the mouse is inserted or written into this window.

Tracking - activating a macro in the game.

React to: Pressing and releasing (Basically, you will need a release mode, so we immediately switch to this mode)

The big red button is needed to record your own macros. You turn it on and it records the actions of the mouse.

Let's make a small setting right away:

1. Click on the macro label at the top of the program.

2. In the settings, the tracking key, I chose the "X" button, we do it as convenient for anyone, be sure to change the F8 key.

The program is now ready to load the macro. To download, follow the link under the video and download the file with macros, for example, I took a macro from the Orsis T5000 standard, why exactly the standard. The bottom line is that here you can macro the left and right mouse buttons, the program is designed for primitive mice, in the standard macro for Orsis these keys are just used.

Here we downloaded the archive, there are three files in it:

1. Click on "standard" with the right mouse button

2. Opening with notepad

3. Copying the content of the tags

4. Paste the copied into the Macros Effect program -> into the script window.

5. We go into the game, press the X key, we hear the sound of the included program. We hold down the zoom, shoot - the sniper reloads itself.

Rapid shooting ...

To use the bug with fast shooting from Orsis, you will have to cut off part of the script, leave a double click and after the shot scroll the mouse wheel or press the 1 key. jerking, in the case of an ordinary mouse and this program, you will have to squint one eye on the fifth shot.

Optimizing Macros Effect:

Press the key combination alt + Ctrl + Del, launch the task manager -> go to processes -> right-click on the Macros Effect program -> set the priority above average. This is necessary so that the program first of all intercepts signals from your mouse.

I warn you!

The use of the software by the side in online games is prohibited by the rules, including in Contract Wars. In this video, I showed a primitive memory emulator of the Macros Effect gaming mouse - this program is the same as the usual memory of a gaming mouse, only the macro records will be located on your computer, unlike gaming mice, in the gaming macros are stored in the mouse itself.

To summarize:

If we compare the work of macros on a gaming mouse and through a program, the difference is felt significantly. It would be easier to take the simplest x7 with 16 kb memory and not invent anything, if you have to go play with a computer club team, then no one will let you put your program on their computer, and when the whole script is sewn into the mouse, no one will say anything.

Through this program, you can macro double, troubles, queues, from any weapon. There will be an abyss for stormtroopers.

Added the following macros to the archive for the video:

1.double click

2. Trouble click

For those who have x7 gaming mice with built-in memory, I show you how to load a macro for yourself:

1. We download the OSCAR program for our mouse from the off site, usually it is on the page with the mouse description.

2. We launch the program.

3. Select the desired key

4. open the macro manager

5. Click on the macro -> Open -> Select the macro you need

6. Save -> Close the macro manager

7. Click Download to Mouse

The macro is loaded into the mouse, you can play and be happy.

As for the bloody mouse, under the video there is a link to a video in which the dudes tell how to put macros on a series of these mice, checked his video, everything is great, so that for the hundredth time not to shoot the same thing, who will need to go to

Now it's time to optimize your mouse. "And what is there to improve then?" - you ask. There is something, believe me. No, there will be no talk about cursors - I already wrote to you. I bring to your attention three small programs for customizing the mouse... They are all free. After using them, you will feel the convenience and acceleration of navigation in the system. Personally, I have adopted them. And I advise you.

Let's take a closer look and in pictures, how to set up a mouse... By the way, any.

Mouse program - download: 15Mb

The first is a mouse customization program from the creators of Windows. As you might guess - absolutely proven and good. Such companies do not risk their reputation. Truth?

Microsoft IntelliPoint- this is, in fact, just all the options and settings of the mouse, which are already in the system. But here they are all collected in one place. It is very convenient and understandable. Everything is so easy that I will not describe it - you yourself will understand. Completely Russian. Also, the newest drivers will be installed in parallel, on your mouse.

Wizmouse is the next mouse program. What she does? She, as it were, drills the windows. Will explain. You have two windows open. One above the other. So, in order to scroll the bottom, you do not need to activate it, just move the cursor over the edge of the window and turn the wheel. Also, you probably noticed that scrolling does not work on all elements of sites. For example, YouTube videos above the windows. This program eliminates these inconveniences. In general, you will feel the difference right away.

Expose the jackdaws and click OK. This icon will appear in the tray. And when you click on it with the RIGHT mouse button, a menu will appear. Enabled - enabled. Remove the checkbox, the program will be turned off.

Now the sweetest and most delicious. MouseExtender- a program for the mouse that allows you to hang on the middle (by default, you can change) the mouse button (wheel) of the quick launch menu ... whatever you want. Programs, links to a site, opening a folder or file. Turning off the computer on time, restarting and the control panel go immediately by default. It's even faster and more convenient than the dock. When you click with the wheel anywhere on the screen, a menu appears ...

To start, go to the folder ...

... and press ...

After that, do not move the folder.

Initially, we have this form ...

The first computer mouse appeared in 1984. Introducing the first Macintosh, which then cost $ 2,500, Apple wrote in a press release: “Users tell the Macintosh what to do by moving the mouse, a small pointing device. or a graphic symbol on the screen. With the "mouse" users no longer have to memorize the many confusing keyboard commands that are used in conventional computers.

And the fault is that they provide "extra" buttons.

Quick launch of applications from the quick launch window, assignment to additional keys
