Tele2 began to carry over the rest of the package tariffs to the next month

Federal mobile operator Tele2 began to transfer unused SMS, minutes of calls and gigabytes of Internet traffic to the next month. The new function is already working for all subscribers who use tariff packages of the "Black" line. This became known during the "Other Rules" press conference in Moscow.

"Nowadays, many subscribers prefer package tariffs, which include a certain number of minutes, gigabytes of Internet traffic and SMS. And we thought:" Do our clients use the entire volume of those services that we provide on a particular tariff plan? " said Andrey Patoka, Deputy General Director of Tele2 for Marketing, Product and Work with Federal Clients.

According to him, about 80% of subscribers use only one fifth of all minutes of calls and SMS, which are included in the packages of the "Black" line. And almost all users do not have time to use up Internet traffic to the end. Therefore, Tele2 has provided all subscribers with the opportunity to carry over unspent balances to the next month since January 26. The function is connected automatically and does not require additional financial costs. It is enough just to top up the balance in time.

According to Sergei Emdin, CEO of Tele2, "Transfer of balances" was the first step in the development of a new strategy. In general, the operator intends to abandon the copying of competitors' tariffs and plans to create unique products for each subscriber segment. Traditionally at a very competitive price.

“In today's market, just an affordable price is not as interesting as it used to be; the prices for mobile communications in Russia are too low, and people want to see innovations. useful innovations, such as "Transfer of residues" - said Emdin.

Tele2 also continues to develop digital and partner services, offer subscribers new services in the financial sector. At the briefing, company representatives presented one of the latest innovations - a bank card, which was issued jointly with Touch Bank. Its service costs the operator's clients cheaper than the standard bank tariffs, and when paying for Tele2 services, 10% of the cashback is returned to it. At the same time, the company plans to connect a number of other large financial organizations to this project in the future, so that the subscriber has a choice.

"We do not want to make a Tele2 card - we are planning to invite a wide range of financial organizations for cooperation, among which our clients will be able to choose those that best suit their needs," said Patoka.

"Other rules" is not only the name of the new communication platform, but also the updated slogan of Tele2. At the same time, the operator plans to change the design of the site and expand the range of the brand's corporate colors.

“The black color stays with us, while we have added a palette of bright accents. We also bring bright images into our communication - black and white photographs with real people and vivid emotions,” said Inna Pokhodnya, the operator's marketing director.

“It is very important that everything is simple and honest. This is the company's“ DNA ”, and we are not going to confuse our subscribers with“ stars ”or difficult conditions. All our proposals were, are and will be extremely simple and transparent,” concluded Sergei Emdin.
