Installation of brackets on the wall


Mostly brackets are fixed using plastic dowels 12x80 (mm) or metal anchor bolts.


Depending on the fasteners you choose, do not forget to bring the appropriate key with you.

We apply the bracket to the wall with such a calculation so that the future antenna prevented anything. In turn, your antenna also should not be an interference signal for already installed neighboring antennas.


Try to choose a strong and reliable wall surface. The distance from the corner of the wall to the bolts should be sufficient that when tightening the bolts, the angle will not split. We are placing a pencil hole for the bracket. Depending on the selected fastener, drills the holes in the wall of the desired diameter, to the depth, slightly large than the length of the dowel or anchor.

We insert the dowels into the wings and scored them with a hammer.


We screw the bracket to the wall. Check the reliability of the attachment of the brackets by attaching to them some effort, it must be borne in mind that the antennas have good sailboats and the brackets are constantly experiencing vibration. Naturally, after a good wind, the antenna should remain in the original position.

Setting the antennas and converters on satellites

First of all, we recommend viewing an article. At first glance, this is a pretty simple operation, but without observing some rules can be seriously shorted to connected equipment.
At this stage, you can hang antennas to brackets. If you are supposed to install an antenna on the roof, then you will need a small TV and a configured receiver (for example, we will take the most common "Globo", "Orton" or their analogues of the 4100C (or 4050C) to date.

Consider setting up an antenna for 3 satellites (Amos, Sirius, HotBird). At first, you need to configure the antenna to Sirius satellite (Astra). To do this, connect one end of the cable to the central converter, and the other to the receiver input (LNB IN).

All manipulations with the connectors must be carried out when the receiver is turned off.

The receiver must connect to the TV, click on the "OK" button on the receiver, go to Sirius satellite, select a working channel, such as "Rada" or "2 + 2", press the "OK" button again to go to the selected channel.

In the lower right corner, the channel information will appear under the viewing window and two scales: the first shows the signal level, and its second quality. Antennas are configured at the bottom scale "Quality". Slowly rotate the antenna in horizontal and vertical positions until the signal appears on the scale. Now move the antenna literally in a millimeter, trying to achieve a stronger signal. Next, tightening nuts, you need to achieve maximum possible signal. By turning the converter around its axis, you can still raise the signal (more on polarization written on the page). Do not attempt to catch 100% - Signal, it is unrealistic. Press the "EXIT" button and check the signal on other channels of this satellite. Channels from one satellite can have a different signal quality - this is a normal phenomenon. To configure the satellite, turn off the receiver, unscrew the cable from the middle converter, connect it to the convepor to the right (it is the topmost),

and turn on the receiver for the previous example on the AMOS satellite working channel, for example "1 + 1" or " New channel" Adjustable multifide bolts, and turning the converter around its axis, we achieve the maximum signal from this satellite.

In the same way, connect to the left, the lowest converter, and adjust the satellite (Channels "1TVRUS" (ort), "RTR").

Connecting the Diseqc switch to the antennas and receiver

Connect the cables from the converters to the DiSEQC switch. Write to which port of the switch (ports are numbered), each satellite corresponds. For example, a converter receiving a signal from the Hodbird satellite you connected to the first port, Sirius - to the second, AMOS - to the third. Next, connect one end of the cable to the dispenser to the "Reseiver" port, and the other in the LNB IN tuner socket and turn on the receiver. In the receiver go to MENU, the installation of the antenna (installation), in top string In the drop-down list, select the satellite, such as AMOS, and in the "DiseqC" row, select the corresponding port (in this example 3/4, where 3 is the port number of the switch, 4 means that our switch has only 4 ports).

In some receiver, the DiseqC numbering is not digital, and the alphabetic alphabet is, for example, LNB "A", LNB "B", LNB "C", etc. In the same way, "weiss" other satellites. We exit from the menu by the "EXIT" remote control, agree with the proposal to save the settings. For proper connectionChannels from all customized satellites should show. The second antenna is configured in the same way as the first and connects to the remaining port of the Diseqc switch.

It should be reminded that all connections are made when the receiver is turned off from the power grid.

As we have already stipulated, the cable should not be worked out and go under sharp corners throughout its length. If you start the cable to the room outside, the hole for the cable should be drilled under the tilt so that the water from the outside does not register into the hole inside.

Outside, the cable connects to the DiSEQC switch to the Reseiver port, inside - to the entrance to the "LNB IN" receiver.
